Today’s newspaper carried a headline, “Accident on Interstate 57 could have been much worse.“
For obvious reasons, I didn’t read the accompanying article, but it prompted me to start several articles based on this new style of journalism. I am doing a poignant piece on weather, detailing the severe killer hurricane that didn’t destroy the southern coast this weekend;Â actually skies were clear with calm winds and balmy temperatures.
I’ll follow this with a photo spread of the local bank that was neither robbed or blown up by terrorists, and in fact, was not even struck by the plane that didn’t crash.
Then there’s the neighbor’s cat that did not have a litter of 12 kittens . . .
